Barboza is the new Gulfstream Park champion

Venezuelan trainer Víctor Barboza Jr was crowned champion this October 1 at Gulfstream Park Racetrack with 29 wins, beating Antonio Sano and Ralph Nicks, both great trainers with several titles in La Florida.

Víctor, who has only two years and four months to earn his third title as a coach, two in his native State of Zulia at the Santa Rita Hippodrome and now the most recent and first in the United States at the Gulfstream Summer Meet.

The numbers that Barboza left at the Summer Meet were really impressive, winning 29 races with 104 presented for a 28% effectiveness and with a production above 600 thousand dollars for its owners.

Victor closed with a victory in the Summer Meet winning with Dreaming Of Gold the Bull And Whistle Handicap, being a very emotional victory with a copy owned by the Granpollo Stable.
