Tape Runner (Audible) took advantage of the violent train of race, with Laila Bella Girl and Miss Bia, in 23”52 and 46”82 for the half mile and in the straight, the filly trained by Victor Barboza Jr. appeared open – free of setbacks – unstoppable in her rush.
Thus she won the Maiden Special Weight scheduled for one mile and 70 yards, ridden by Emisael Jaramillo and in 1’41” for the distance, on the tapeta of GulsftreamPark. First triumph in seven attempts, after several appearances, finally that of the RM18 Stable, confirms what her pedigree indicated, disposition in the background, with a maternal line that relates her to the multiple stakes winner, War Story.
For his part, Barboza Jr. continues to be on fire at the Sunshine Meet, where he has won the title several times, and is already on track with 4 wins in 13 attempts, in just the second week of the competition.
